The St. Francis de Sales School community in Toledo, Ohio, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Anson Crandall, a beloved student, talented visual artist, and valued member of the school’s brotherhood. Anson was preparing to begin his senior year at St. Francis de Sales, a milestone that many of his peers were eagerly anticipating alongside him. To support the community during this difficult period, a prayer service for the Crandall family will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13, at Gesu Catholic Church. Students, parents, alumni, faculty members, and supporters of St. Francis de Sales are invited to attend and stand together in faith and solidarity.
Recognizing that grief affects individuals in different ways, the school has also arranged for counselors to be available beginning at 6 p.m. inside the church for students seeking emotional support. Additional individual counseling appointments can be scheduled through school counselors.
